How it works:

Sclerotherapy (from the Greek skleros, meaning “hard”) is an effective treatment for fine spider veins and involves injecting a small amount of a natural chemical into the vein making it collapse and disappear. We can also use our special TIMED machine to treat troublesome spider veins on the face.

We treat fine spider veins in this way – larger varicose veins require either laser treatment or surgical stripping.

The procedure is quick, simple with a small amount of discomfort. After the treatment you will be asked to wear pressure stockings for around 4-5 days to optimise results and prevent recurrence depending on the site and particulars of your treatment. Rarely a tenacious vein may recur and a second treatment is necessary (of course at no extra cost to you).
