Tightening threads give a tightening effect, whereas Lifting threads give lift and firmness with minor downtime.

Lifting Threads

A Thread Lift does two things; firstly, the threads cause tension in the skin that gives an immediate lifting effect. Secondly the threads stimulate the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid in the skin which creates firmer skin. Downtime is minimal with some discomfort for 3-5 days sometimes not always, unlike tightening threads which allow you to return to normal activities straight away.

Tightening PDO Threads

PDO Mono threads are smooth threads without barbs, that are used for tightening the skin when lifting is not necessarily required. Threads stimulate production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, wherever in the skin they are placed – this results in firmer, rejuvenated skin.
